Indian women start investing 5 years later than men: Report

A report by Lxme and EY India stated that only 8.6% of Indian women invest in mutual funds or equities, compared with 22.3% of men, and that women account for just 25% of investors. It's because only 21% of Indian women are financially literate, according to the report. In addition, women typically begin investing five years later than men.
