₹28 lakh crore added to investor wealth as Sensex jumps 8% in 6 sessions

Investor wealth surged by nearly ₹28 lakh crore as the Sensex jumped almost 6,000 points, or 7.86%, over six sessions. The combined market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies rose from ₹4,73,53,878.83 crore on October 28 to ₹5,01,34,871 crore on Thursday. The Sensex gained over 1,400 points on Thursday after Democrats won the US midterm elections.
