Samsung hikes chipmaking prices by up to 15%: Report

Samsung Electronics has raised prices for some advanced contract chipmaking services by up to 15% for new orders amid AI-fuelled demand, Reuters reported. Strong demand from Chinese customers has left Samsung unable to fulfil all orders. Chinese firms are among those accepting the steepest price increases, as US export curbs have increased their reliance on overseas foundries for advanced chips.
