Archaeologists at Sharjah University discovered a Greek inscription at the Syria's Great Mosque of Homs, reviving debate over the location of the ancient Temple of the Sun. The writing in the inscription is symmetrical, spaced and adopts a heroic tone. However, it is being linked to Elagabalus, a high priest who later became Roman emperor in the third century AD.
