Thariq Shihipar, a key contributor to Anthropic's Claude Code, announced his departure ahead of Anthropic's upcoming IPO. He said he'd seen Claude Code scale larger than he ever imagined, adding, "I...believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of race to the top."
