Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal urged Indian businesses not to get stuck in the "comfortable rut" of treating 5-10% export growth as success. Speaking at a Business Plenary Session in London, he stated that doing so would be a "betrayal" of the trust the world has in India today. He added that exporters need to focus on "transformational growth".
