Christian leaders ask Kharge to push Karnataka anti-conversion act repeal, 1% quota
A delegation representing the Christian community in Karnataka led by Archbishop of Bangalore Peter Machado met Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and raised concerns affecting the community. They urged him to press for the repeal of Karnataka Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion Act, commonly known as the anti-conversion act, and sought a 1% exclusive reservation for Christians.
