A US woman said she was raped at a Karnataka homestay by a person named Vrujesh Kumar. The owner of the homestay allegedly cut wifi for three days to suppress the incident. The woman informed the United States Embassy about the incident after which they informed police authorities in India. The police have arrested the homestay owner and Vrujesh.
