Fake vending permit racket busted in Chandigarh's Sector-22

MC enforcement staff caught a vendor with a forged vending permit during a challan drive in Chandigarh's Sector-22 mobile market. Around 12-13 more suspected fake permits were found in Sectors 22B and 22C. A sub-inspector filed a complaint with UT police. The fake slips showed a 15-day validity — a red flag, as MC doesn't issue such permits.
