Israel has carried out a strike on Iran, nearly a week after a missile and drone attack was carried out by Tehran on Jerusalem, US officials told CNN. The attack came just hours after Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that if Israel took any further military action against it, retaliation would be "immediate and at a maximum level".
