Scientists have decoded why dolphins swim so fast, stating that while swimming, a dolphin flaps its tail up and down in a kicking motion that produces strong, large-scale vortex rings. These large rings help in pushing water backward and generate thrust, helping dolphins swim so fast. Scientists revealed that dolphins are incredibly efficient at swimming because of their tail motion.
