Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, thanked the people and religious leadership of Iraq for supporting Iran "in the face of aggression" in a rare message reported by Iranian state media on Sunday. The report did not explain how the message was conveyed and offered no proof he is alive. He has not been seen publicly since the war began.
