Church sends bone from 600-year-old prince's sword hand to Russian soldiers in Ukraine

The Russian Orthodox Church has sent a bone fragment from Grand Prince Dmitry Donskoy’s sword hand to troops fighting in Ukraine to boost soldiers' morale, saying it would provide “spiritual strength”. Donskoy is revered in Russia for defeating the Mongol Golden Horde at the 1380 Battle of Kulikovo. The prince died more than 600 years ago.
