The observational study, led by Dr. Sankha Shubhra Chakrabarti and researchers at Banaras Hindu University, focused on 1,024 participants. While only 635 adolescents and 291 adults were followed up with for a year, the findings revealed a higher risk of Adverse Events of Special Interest (AESI) in female adolescents who had pre-existing allergies.
