Kiwi to get cheaper in India

Kiwi fruit is set to become cheaper in India under the FTA with New Zealand, which will come into force on October 20. India will grant New Zealand a duty-free quota of 6,250 tonnes in the first year, rising to 15,000 tonnes by the sixth year. Shipments outside the quota will get immediate 50% tariff cut, from 33.5% to 16.5%.
