TMC's Abhishek Banerjee thanked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his support after he was pelted with stones and eggs in Sonarpur. Banerjee said that last year he visited several countries as part of an Operation Sindoor delegation to represent India. “Today, I stand as a victim of political violence...unleashed by those who claim to be guardians of nationalism,” he added.
