More than 1.22 lakh central government employees, including new joinees, existing employees, and past retirees, have opted for the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) as of November 30. Notably, subscribers have the one-time, one-way switch facility to revert to NPS any time during their service. Notably, the 14% government contribution made on (NPS) will be restored after switch to (UPS).
