Actress Asha Singh passes away

Veteran TV actress Asha Singh passed away in Mumbai after battling a lung infection, her son Akkash Bharadwaj confirmed. "She was a hardworking 'Iron Lady'," he said. She was regarded as India's first female mimicry artist and was known for mimicking the voice of actress Meena Kumari. She also played role of Dronacharya’s wife in BR Chopra’s Mahabharat.
