The government set an interest rate of 8.2% on Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme, while for the three-year term deposit, the rate is set at 7.1% in the January-March 2026 quarter. The interest rates on PPF and post office savings deposit schemes have been set at 7.1% and 4%, respectively. This is the seventh straight quarter the government hasn't changed interest rates.
