A study said that beneficiaries of birthright citizenship will contribute $7.7 trillion to US economy over their lifetimes. It projects $4.2 trillion from working-age adults (1960–2009 births), $2.6 trillion from children born between 2010-2024, and $927 billion from children yet to be born by 2044. Recently, US Supreme Court blocked President Trump’s bid to end automatic birthright citizenship.
