Bangladesh is facing widespread mobile network shutdowns due to fuel shortages triggered by the US-Iran war, operators said on Monday. A telecom industry body warned the situation has gone "beyond operational control", adding operations can't be sustained without fuel to power infrastructure, including data centres. The country imports nearly 95% of its oil and gas, largely from the Middle East.
