Ex-Deloitte manager steals 400 laptops to make ₹55 lakh, loses all in trading in Hong Kong

A former Deloitte IT manager stole over 400 laptops worth HK$1.2 million (around ₹1.4 crore) from the company's Hong Kong office over 17 months to fund his stock trading addiction. Ho Man-kit, who has pleaded guilty, made HK$458,000 (around ₹55 lakh) from selling the laptops. However, he claimed he lost all the proceeds through unsuccessful trading and remained in debt.
