Will award compensation if CJP protest impacts traders: SC on losses due to CP park closure

The Supreme Court on Friday, reacting to concerns regarding traders suffering losses due to closure of CP's Central Park because of the CJP protest, said it will award compensation if Delhi protests impact traders and daily-wage workers. Advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai said that the disruption around Connaught Place was causing losses of more than ₹250 crore a day.
