AIMIM's 22-year-old corporator from Thane's Mumbra, Sahar Yunus Shaikh, apologised to the police in writing over her "paint Mumbra green" remark after BJP leader Kirit Somaiya filed a complaint. She pledged her allegiance to the tricolour and said, "I live and will die for our flag," NDTV reported. She had earlier clarified that "green" referred to her party's flag colour.
