BJP leader Kirit Somaiya filed a police complaint against Congress leader Ashok A Jagtap alias Bhai Jagtap for comparing the Election Commission to a "dog". Somaiya said, "Such kind of insult...of the EC which is a constitutional body can't be tolerated." Notably, Jagtap made the remark after the Congress-led MVA alliance faced a defeat in the just concluded Maharashtra elections.
