Maha FDA mandates 'Mother's Milk Is Best' warning on all infant food packages

Maharashtra FDA has mandated a "Mother's Milk Is Best For Your Baby" warning on infant-food packages for children up to two years, including cereals and supplementary foods. The order also bars advertising, influencer promotions, free samples and gifts. Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe said an FDA survey found 25% of 10-12-year-olds had high blood pressure, which he linked to not being breastfed.
