India only G20 nation to meet COP21 climate commitments ahead of schedule: PM Modi

While inaugurating an environmental conference in Delhi, PM Modi said India is the only G20 nation to have demonstrated fulfilment of commitments made at COP21 Summit in Paris ahead of schedule. He added that responsibility for carbon emissions has been “wrongly placed on developing nations”. The COP21 summit required countries to commit to holding global temperature increases well below 2°C.
