American Exchange Group entered an agreement on Monday to buy all ​the assets and liabilities of ‌US-based footwear brand Allbirds for $39 million (₹366.6 crore). This figure is roughly one-tenth of the $348 million it raised in its 2021 IPO and less than over $4 billion (₹37,628 crore) valuation it briefly commanded. Allbirds' shares rose about 32% in extended trading.
