Bombay High Court on Tuesday quashed Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust's bribery case against HDFC Bank CEO and managing director Sashidhar Jagdishan. Describing the case as a "non-bona fide complaint", the court observed that it was due to strained relations between the trust's former and current trustees. Jagdishan was accused of accepting a ₹2.05 crore bribe from ex-trustee Chetan Mehta.
