Actor Aamir Khan stepped into the Marathi vs Hindi language debate as he turned up to vote in the BMC elections. Speaking to reporters, Khan addressed people in Marathi and urged them to participate in the polls. When asked by reporters to repeat his message in Hindi, Khan replied, "Hindi mein? Yeh Maharashtra hai bhai [In Hindi? This is Maharashtra]."
