Residents asked not to use toilets after lightning strikes treatment plant at US county

The residents of Gladwin County in Michigan, US, have been asked not to use bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, showers, and other plumbing fixtures, after a wastewater treatment plant was struck by lightning. The officials have reportedly given portable restrooms to residents in some parts of the county. "Recovery measures are underway," Gladwin County Emergency Management said.
