HDFC Bank names new MD & CEO

HDFC Bank has appointed Anup Bagchi as MD and CEO for three years starting October 27. Currently the MD and CEO of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Bagchi has over three decades of experience. He will succeed Sashidhar Jagdishan, who decided not to seek reappointment after his current term ends, leaving India's largest private-sector lender to look for new leadership.
