US Department of Defense will be using Google's Gemini to automate everyday work, allowing employees to build custom AI agents for unclassified work. The department's technology chief Emil Michael said the department is "moving on" from the public rift with Anthropic, which led to the firm getting blacklisted. Talks are already reportedly underway to allow Gemini's usage for top-secret work.
