A court on Thursday rejected Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre's plea to appear via video conferencing in the alleged assault case involving doctors and nurses at Maharashtra's KDMC Hospital. The court directed that he be produced physically before the court. Mhatre, the prime accused arrested in the case, was taken to hospital after his arrest due to health issues.
