Inflation to stay contained in coming months as prices of crude oil, urea ease: Govt

Inflation in India may remain "relatively" contained in the coming months, the Finance Ministry's monthly review for June stated. "Recent easing in global commodity markets, a correction in crude oil prices, and softening of key input prices such as urea may help moderate imported inflationary pressures," it said. Retail inflation, based on Consumer Price Index, accelerated to 3.93% in May.
