South Korean rescue dog retires after saving 16 lives in missions

An 11-year-old fire rescue dog, Chungseong, retired from service from Busan's 119th Special Rescue Unit after seven years. Chungseong was appointed a rescue dog in the unit in April 2019 and has since helped in nearly 300 rescue missions where he is credited to have saved 16 lives. The dog was honoured with a retirement ceremony and has been adopted.
