Kerala Cabinet, chaired by CM Pinarayi Vijayan, allotted 180 acres of land free of cost for the production of supersonic BrahMos cruise missiles. The land has been allotted to BrahMos Aerospace unit at Kallikkad village of Thiruvananthapuram. It shall be utilised exclusively "for construction of an advanced missile & other strategic unit and their related activities," the Kerala government said.
