Saudi confirms first death in conflict with Houthis

Saudi Arabia has confirmed the first death in the current conflict with Iran-backed Houthis, saying that a Yemeni national was killed by falling debris as it intercepted a drone in the Taif Governorate. A female citizen and Pakistani national were seriously injured. "Material damage to a number of buildings and vehicles was also caused due to the interception," Saudi added.
