6-magnitude earthquake hits Japan's Kyushu

An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit Japan's Kyushu on Wednesday evening, according to the National Center for Seismology. The earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 30 km at 7.34 PM IST, caused panic among people, leading them to rush out of their homes and buildings. However, there have been no reports of significant damage so far.
