The Supreme Court on Monday ordered IIT Dhanbad to grant admission to a Dalit student, Atul Kumar, who lost his seat after missing the deadline by about three minutes to deposit ₹17,500 fee. The family earlier approached the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, the Jharkhand Legal Services Authority and the Madras HC. "All the best," CJI DY Chandrachud told Atul.
