IPL cricketer Abishek Porel arrested for allegedly raping medical student

Delhi Capitals (DC) and Bengal cricketer Abishek Porel has been arrested in connection with a case filed by a medical student alleging rape, criminal intimidation and assault. He was arrested from Emami City under Dum Dum police station. The complainant alleged in June that Porel had a sexual relationship on a false promise of marriage and assaulted her.
