Teen builds AI tool DeepTrust to detect deepfakes

Vaishnav Anand, a high schooler at The Athenian School in Danville, California, built DeepTrust, an AI tool that detects fake videos, audio, and images. Launched in 2024 after a personal deepfake encounter, it uses a quad-stream detection system and is already being piloted in schools.
