What is known about discovery of possible ice on Moon using Chandrayaan-2 data?

Scientists analysing Chandrayaan-2 data found fresh evidence of possible subsurface ice near Moon's South Polar Region. The study examined permanently shadowed craters that never receive sunlight. A 1.1-km-wide crater inside Faustini crater showed strong signs of buried ice. Researchers said its unusual flow-like rim structure may indicate the impact struck an ice-rich underground layer.
