BMW to layoff 20% of upper management by mid-2027: Report

BMW will layoff 20% of its upper management by mid-2027 while merging divisions and management layers, Bloomberg reported. It added that BMW has around 65 senior vice presidents reporting directly to the board and 400 senior posts under them. This comes after BMW announced in July that it plans to cut 8,000 jobs by the end of 2027.
