This is less than the 29.1% via the Strait of Malacca between the Malay Peninsula and the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Other key routes include Cape of Good Hope (11.4%), Suez Canal (6.1%), Danish Straits (6.1%), Bab el-Mandeb (5.3%), and Turkish Straits (4.6%).
