Philippines will simulate the strike of the India-made BrahMos missile during the ongoing Balikatan 2026 exercises with the United States. China has warned that such military activity could fuel division and trigger confrontation in the Asia-Pacific region. In 'simulation firing', all sensors and fire control systems are activated, just like in an actual strike, without any weapon launch.
