I was beaten, scratched and bitten during Opp'n protest: Delhi policeman

A Delhi Police constable, Ankit Kasana, alleged that he was attacked and bitten by demonstrators during the Opposition's protest near Jantar Mantar. "Thirty to 35 people surrounded me. I was beaten, scratched and bitten...I kept pleading that I was only doing my duty to keep everyone safe," he said. "Somehow, three colleagues rushed in and pulled me out," he added.
