BJP MLA Maithili Thakur criticised RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in the Bihar Assembly, comparing his tenure to characters from the Mahabharata. Referring to Lalu and his son Tejashwi Yadav, Thakur said that the period before 2005 reminded her of Dhritarashtra's Hastinapur, where the king cared more for Duryodhana than the kingdom. She alleged Bihar suffered greatly during that time.
