The US Embassy in India issued a worldwide alert for H-1B and H-4 applicants and said that the Department of State has expanded online presence reviews of the applicants to address the "abuse" of the program. "We encourage applicants to apply as early as they can and anticipate additional processing time for these visa classifications," it added.
