Road caves in after heavy rainfall in Gurugram
A portion of the service road at Gurugram's IFFCO Chowk caved in after heavy rain. Preliminary findings suggest that a main sewer line of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), running beneath the affected stretch, may have caused the collapse. In December, GMDA had reportedly warned the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) about a possible cave-in near the IFFCO flyover.
